Join Kevin Menck in the studio for this intensive one day workshop to learn the basics of painting the landscape. Students will also refresh skills in drawing, seeing shapes of value, color mixing with limited palette and achieving a strong start to a painting. Kevin will do a painting demonstration and explain how he approaches simplifying the landscape with value shapes and eliminating unnecessary details. Kevin uses a limited palette and will discuss how he mixes the local colors he sees in the landscape. He will provide one on one instruction. You will go home with a painting of your own.
