For many art students, watercolor painting can seem intimidating. Because of its seemingly unforgiving and uncontrollable nature, many students choose to work in "more forgiving" mediums.

Jim wants to convert that fear to fun and discovery.

During this two day workshop, you will paint at least three watercolors: floral, animal and landscape/seascape. Jim will demonstrate, step by step, how each subject can be successfully rendered and guide each student as they create their own painting. Along the way, you will learn basic watercolor techniques AND learn to enjoy, not fear, some of watercolor's inherent challenges and attributes.
