Students are often amazed at how Kevin Menck can capture the vivid colors of the Tennessee landscape using a limited palette with just three primary colors and white. His paintings have clear value shapes and pattern.

In this one day workshop, Kevin will demonstrate and explain the importance of value shapes and how he determines color temperature in landscape painting. If you struggle with understanding how to determine value and color temperature this will be a wonderful workshop to help strengthen your understanding. Students will go home with a painting of their own. Small class size allows for one on one critique and instruction.
