Paints: Bring Gouache, Acrylic or Acrylic Gouache.
Colors: Minimal palette is 3 primary -red, yellow and blue plus white and black.
A more thorough palette would be:
Large tube of Permanent White- bring lots of white!
Large tube of Black
Cadmium yellow or cad yellow light
Cadmium Orange
Yellow Ochre
Cadmium Red Light
Quinacrodone Rose
Ultramarine Blue
Cerulean Blue
Sap Green
Viridian Green
Raw Umber
Dioxanine Purple
Surfaces:
Bring one 18x24 Swathmore drawing pad 80 lbs.
Bring one 9x12 Vellum Bristol Pad.
Working small, we will cover a lot of surface making lots of decisions so 6x8 to 9x12 acid free, non-textured mat board. If you go to a framer, ask if you can have mat board scraps.

Container for water
Brushes used for acrylic or gouache. Bring a variety of sizes, rounds, flats, filberts.
