This workshop is a rare opportunity to learn the insights of Portraiture from Igor V. Babailov, Hon.RAA and advance your skills in painting and drawing portraits. His commissioned portrait subjects include Presidents, Supreme Court Justices, Prime Ministers, Royalty, and three Popes for the Vatican. He was invited to share his expertise and taught at numerous American and international portrait venues, universities, and art schools, including the Florence Academy of Art in Italy. The years of experience had empowered him to understand exactly the needs of his students regardless of their personal and professional levels. In one of his classes, two artists sat side by side - a beginner learning the basics and an accomplished artist who had just delivered an official portrait of a state Governor. The Masters always said, if you want to learn and progress fast, then study the essence and not the shortcuts. Whatever you seek as an artist, you will learn in Babailov’s class in depth, on the level you require and with the most individual attention.
Another distinct feature of the Babailov workshop is that every day begins with his signature life-model Portrait Demo, giving the students a unique opportunity to watch a skillfully fast yet detailed, step-by-step completion of a portrait from start to finish, inspiring them for their own works under the one-on-one instruction by Igor Babailov.
The workshop features: Beautiful Life Models, Master Demonstrations and One-on-One instruction by Igor Babailov, Private Studio Tour and much more.
