Kevin Menck Supply List for Establishing a Strong Start Workshop
Portable Plein Air Easel/palette setup if you would like to practice using a plein air easel *but there are plenty of standing easels and tables in the studio for you to use during the workshop. If you plan to use an easel in the studio, don’t forget to bring a wooden or glass palette or palette paper.
Bring at least 4-6 small canvas panels or you can wipe off board after each start. Sizes such as 5x7, 6x6, 6x9 no larger than 8x10.

Thinner/mineral spirits (Gamsol) in portable container*
The paints I use are Cadmium Lemon, Cadmium Scarlet and Ultramarine Blue. My white is Titanium White. Choice is up to the student.* Brushes and small palette knife* Canvas/linen/gesso panels
* sketchbook and pencils are good to bring as well to design your composition before painting.
