Throughout most of art history, drawing the human form convincingly has been the benchmark of competency for the visual artist. This class humbly aims to reassert some of that tradition through fundamentals like careful observation, basic artistic anatomy and technical training. Students may work in any chosen medium as long as it is monochromatic. Although all skill levels are welcome, some previous training or exposure to basic drawing is recommended.
