Canson Mi-Teintes (Pearl)
Get a 19x25” sheet and cut it in half for two 19x12.5” pieces.
A smooth surface large enough for the 19x12.5” paper. I have a 2x4’ sheet of 1/8” masonite cut in half from Home Depot that gives me two inexpensive drawing boards.
Willow Charcoal medium thickness (6-12 sticks)
Vine Charcoal HARD (3-6 sticks)
Any size/brand will do, just make sure it’s fairly new and clean
Dividers (http://www.dickblick.com/products/blick-masterbow-divider/) - (for measuring)
Mahl Stick - (to steady your hand) Razorblade/Sandpaper (for sharpening charcoal)
Large Soft brush used only for drawing 1/2” to 1” wide.
Artist tape or masking tape
