Remember coloring as a child? It was fun, relaxing and entertaining. Guess what? It still is! Drawing with those familiar colored pencils is still fun, relaxing and entertaining. 

But it also so much more. It is also a way to learn, when we draw something we learn so much information about the subject. It is brain building, as we draw we make hundreds of decisions and build critical thinking skills. It is rewarding, color pencil can be used to create beautiful realistic artwork you will be proud to display.

Think you don’t have the talent? Talent is the desire to create art; skills and techniques still need to be learned. You can learn to draw. This workshop will explore different drawing techniques and processes, along with specific color pencil techniques and materials. It is designed for both artists and non-artists alike. All you need is the desire to draw and a fist full of colored pencils.

Together we will create a beautiful drawing of a bird, and you will gain skills and confidence to keep drawing on your own after the workshop!
