Take your work to the next level finding your unique way of laying down paint in this  2 or 3 day workshop.  Join award winning artist Kim Barrick into the place that brings your work from good to truly original.  Day One and Two-Learn how to engage your body, arm and brush to create strokes only you can make.  In class, students will be encouraged to push their skills to increase paint movement, brush handling and edge work with exercises to carry back to your studio or use outside in the field for more sophisticated artworks.  Day Three will be focused individual instruction. Students will work from still life and reference photos and should also bring any artwork that fell short of expectations.  Kim will demonstrate techniques for elevating finishing strokes to make your paintings sing. Critiques each day will give students more opportunities to learn.  Supply list: https://kimbarrickstudio.com/artist-toolbox/ www.kimbarrickstudio.com
