Join Kim Barrick as she inspires students to conquer large format paintings. During this workshop students will learn how to prepare for creating successful paintings on canvases that at first may feel overwhelming. Day one, students will create small studies from plein air paintings, sketches and/or references photos then learn how to prep canvases in preparation to complete a large artwork on days two and three. For those who have limited time, a two day option is available. Bring a canvas that feels like too much and take home confidence from this fun yet challenging experience. Bonus make-up day on Sunday if needed.
