Join award winning artist Kim Barrick for one or both days taking incomplete paintings to the next level. Students will bring attempted paintings or unfinished ideas into class learning how to find solutions for paintings that did not workout as intended. This class is for any artist who has experienced the thrill of beginning a painting, then falling into confusion about how to finish beautifully. Understanding the building of solid compositions with simple value shapes will be emphasized along with color mixing using a limited palette. Demos of techniques utilizing various methods to rework canvases will be covered each day along with constructive critique sessions. Learn to transform a defeats into victory lead by this always creative instructor.
