This quick, weekend workshop will explore drawing the nude, accurately AND expressively, in charcoal from (teacher supplied) photographic reference. Learn how to judge proportions, recognize anatomical rhythms, relate values and edges and use line and tone for artistic effect. After Jim's brief, lay-in demonstration, students will begin working from one of several (teacher supplied) prints. Between periods of individual instruction, Jim will continue working on his drawing so that he and the students may progress to a finish in tandem.
