PAINTING
Instructor, Gayle Levee
Painting can be loose, but accurate, when you use the right brushes, colors, and mediums. It's when you are trying to fill in an area with a brush that's too small, too large, or the wrong shape, that you tend to start picking at it -- and your painting loses its vitality. The same thing happens when you are using the wrong color or the wrong medium.
Listed here are colors, brushes and mediums that I want you to bring to class the first day. I have a list for oils, a list for acrylics, and a list for water-mixable oils. Please bring a palette, palette knife, rags and canvas as well. Don't bring canvas paper -- it does not work.
Happy shopping! I look forward to seeing you in class.
