Collage for Beginners
March 1 & 2, 2014 and June 21 & 22
Saturday 9 am-4 pm
Sunday 12 noon-5 pm
Wayne Brezinka is a native of Minneapolis who now calls Nashville his home. He is an award winning artist who uses a unique combination of vintage and found ephemera, collage and mixed media to create unique images and works of art. His work has been commissioned by the New York Times, Macy's, the Johnny Cash Family, the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and many recording artists desiring his work for their CD covers. His collage portrait of Abraham Lincoln will soon be hanging in the lobby of the Ford Theatre in Washington DC. Students will learn Wayne's method for creating collages and how to develop one of their own. This is a fun workshop!
